San Francisco Fashion Week

The Kirribilla Spring/Summer '08 Lanikai collection launched at SF Fashion Week on August 24th! Check out photos and reviews of the show here:

7x7 - "Another notable newcomer to the runway included Kirribilla a.k.a. Faye Davison Rexing, Amanda Thomas and Phoebe Davison, BFFs who started their girly line of ready-to-wear in 2005. Now on their third collection with design studios in SF and London, the team has created a crisp line of cotton and linen dresses for spring, a nod to old-time Hawaii."

Fabsugar - "Kirribilla was one of my favorite collections at San Francisco Fashion Week...All reminiscent of the Big Isle, this green and purple frock was a favorite - isn't it so very Zac Posen on a Hawaiian vacay?"

Inside Bay Area - "...Each dress on the runway carried its own personality. The Kona dress was a delightful play on the sarong, while the strapless floral printed Hilo cocktail dress gave a slim-fitting silhouette. The designers offered variations on each dress by changing neckline styles, hem lengths and waistlines. The strategic ruffled sleeves and pockets provided subtle dimension and kept in line with the trio's passion for girlish flair. The classically chic collection was simple, but smart and effortless. "

Stylehive - "At Kirribilla, a collection inspired by old time Hawaii, models sauntered down the runway to relaxed island beats in flirty frocks where ruffles were a-plenty. Shown first were trapeze beach wraps, followed by beautifully cut day dresses and finally, curve-hugging cocktail dresses made from the same casual fabric as the others, capturing perfectly that laidback Hawaiian vibe. Coconut buttons topped off the lovely Lanikai collection."
